what happened to Integrity?

General global consensus agrees that if you are taking up a tradition, ingraining yourself in a culture, carrying on a legacy, integrity of the aforementioned should be kept intact out of respect and authenticity. Part of social deterrence from degeneracy has always been: "don't tarnish your family name." We hold our ancestors in our memory and take care of what they have created. Every major religion focuses on reducing human suffering; whether through detatching from the material world or feeding the poor and caring for the sick. So, why is it that many people simply could not care less about integrity in application?

You have predators and misanthropes screaming "Pro Life! Praise Jesus! All Lives Matter!" then hurting the vulnerable for their self-esteem. You have celebrities who scream "Black Lives Matter! Spread Kindness! Mental Health Matters!" and then go hang-out with their trump-supporting little friends. I know why people do this: it's for personal gain.

Financial, social, emotional gain; who gives a fuck. Those things aren't real. People are real. Your actions are real. The consequences of those actions are real. It doesn't matter if you're a bisexual girl who listens to chappel roan and goes to pride parades if your conservative boyfriend is actively voting against your rights and views you as more of a pet than a person. It doesn't matter if you listen to deep songs about racial injustice and say ACAB if you're a white boy who says the N-word and demeans black women.

I am sick of hypocrisy. I'm sick of ego-coddling. If you are aware of morality, if you have no neurodivergence like aspd which hinders you're motivation to follow morality, then there is no excuse to not strive to be moral. To strive to learn how you can use what power you have, however little, to make this world a better place. If not for you, then for your friends, for your grandchildren, for children everywhere, people everywhere, flora and fauna everywhere.

Don't say that you devote yourself to something or that you are a good person. How could you, when your actions lead to a deterioration of society and your soul? The people you tolerate, your lack of enforcing social consequences, your finding ways to excuse trespassing your own internal code and conscience; it all has consequences.

For there to be great wealth or great power, there must be a great divide. To accumulate more wealth, others must have less resources. To become more socially powerful, others must rely on you. A cult leader is everybody's best friend. A billionare is so financially comfortable that he could fall asleep standing. But both are empty. Neither get it. They just don't get it. When you reach that point, you are no longer human. You've chosen to seperate yourself from others to such a degree, you see them as sustainance for your ego. You've become a monster who can only grow if you constantly feed.

When you die, the good people of this world will piss on your grave, remember you with disgust, laugh at your secrets published in smearing tell-alls that only tell truths. You've been very comfortable, you've been able to create a convienient life for yourself, you've eaten caviar, you've been fought over, you've never been physically hungry nor lonely with all the yes-men you keep around. But you will always be a foul, schmoozing, hollow hypocrite.
